Cold 04:45
If I could be the one you trust The one you trust when it is dark Then I would be sure to adjust Because that’s the way love leaves its mark You changed my world and took off your shell Took off your shell, and showed your face It can be can be said: One can always tell We stick together to finish this race When love, love turns cold … It can’t be bought or sold No, Oh, Oh, Oh When love, turns to rust… You gotta fight for the trust Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh I think of you and I get so sad I get so sad that I do not know Why any living thing Was ever glad When one must someday Sorrow show I touched your hand I felt in awe I feel in awe each time we meet If our heart’s in the right place The frost will thaw Teach me my love please I entreat Teach me my love

Cavalino 05:14
Cavallino sat alone in a broken chair Rusting alive in the Michigan mud somewhere In a dirty ditch near the side of the road Turning purple coal into green snow A dog cowered...A baby cried! I saw the broken windows of his double wide Cavallino believed all his father's lies The old man stuttered hard to describe Weeping quietly he rolled his last zag Wiped his mouth with a filthy rag Smoked that final joint to its last drag In the shade of a tattered flag Only Cavalino knows Wearing second-hand clothes So alone that he froze How he lived was lost to the wind Even angels have to play To learn to fight another day When we take that old winding road That snakes along where the old river flowed Secrets are hushed deep in the grass And even shadows are stopped to pass The taste of blood The sound of rain Was there ever an end to his pain? How will we make it through? Here’s a pole, a line, a hook and gun for you Summer heat bakes us to our bones Bare feet blistered as we’re skipping stones
3.
Remember that summer when We lived with those nudists? Now everyday we gotta fight like a Buddhist Remember 'fore Our love was forlorn? Now I just sit around and wait for a big storm Remember when We drank Bordeaux? And every road took us back to Ohio Remember when You moved back to Madrid? And that stifling summer when You had our kid Times are different now We’re off the track The Times are changing now We’re fading to black Times are different now Dig up the Dinosaur The Times are changing now We're still at War Remember when We were anarchists? Nowadays you gotta pay to be a communist Remember when Our love was so forlorn? Now the only thing I want to do is sit around and watch porn Remember when… We ran the show Remember when… We had that morning glow The shoe fit but we wouldn't wear it We had to work really hard to look like we didn't care We might be low but we’re hangin’ on Our hard times start flowing at the crack of dawn More salt than sweet What’s today’s price to be free? For whom the bell tolls… Is it for you or me? Low but so sweet We’re torn… time to throw away the key Sword’s live stuck deep to the hilt So glad I've had my fill
4.
A faded picture of you sits next to me by my bunk side and when the war ended Se were still young and so alive Every torn page from our story ends with one tiny little rip But I guess my lies weren't big enough to end this bad trip Now my faded memories are staining my bloody dress blues and i can't swallow enough pills to fight back my feelings for you My doctors they can sit me down and look at their x-ray pics but the one thing you can't measure (in this old horse) is the size of his heart mi mademoiselle I feel your spell Now they're telling me we won the war But I don't even remember my final tour Who doesn't want to be that cowboy riding the range in Saskatchewan? but all I'm known as in this dirty VA hospital is "patient John" Seems even my fondest memories of you are starting to weaken I stand on the stern and the fog washes away the lighthouse's beacon
5.
I punch tickets on this downbound train Shift's not enough time to clear my cluttered brain Kinda mixed up but my intentions are good You alway say I take more risks than I should What else did I think I'd find? When I bought this rusty guitar and gave it a shine Did you think I’d write you a thank-you card? for chiseling out my heart with a glass shard Can I sit in the backseat for a spell? Oh why is my life such a living hell? Punch the same tickets get the same fares Just another day with no answer to my prayers I always wanted a different life So I save up for a Corvette and got a wife But everything went south in the dark of the night I guess wasn't ready for this fight Living with the dreams we know And feeling the pain that we show Why do we fight to survive When we don’t really give a damn? We don't save our fucking dimes and everything else is sins And why are we blowing in the wind? When we control the hands We can kick and scream as we live in this dream But we can’t change where the altar stands
6.
We’ve walked 1000 miles We’ve faced 1000 trials We’ve seen a million dreams We’ve waded through countless streams We’ve faced the morning light You lie awake at night Lying together you’re still so far You’re heading straight to the nearest star Smile to earn a tie Lie to get high

Pomona 04:37
Your dirt is so lonely tonight How could you be so wrong? When you feel so right How can we live for today? Counting the minutes since you went away What’s lost only fades away Tomorrow’s love doesn’t even have a name I wanna race all over you Pomona I wanna burn some rubber on your track tonight But you cut out my heart with your carving knife I just love your heads lights ,,,, What’s lost only fades away We rip out our hearts and start another day One by one they made it home Your momma cried… but your tears never showed Ring all the bells, sing a happy tune But we’re all Werewolves… At the sight of the moon Why would ever? Why would you ever take my Janie away? Now my days my dreams are much worse As I playback my life Like a stratocaster curse
8.
You can't hurt me this time by running away I'm too alive to be afraid You're not gonna have the luxury this time to run away No I can't save myself today by pushing you back I'll paint it in black Nobody's going anywhere today but straight into the ditch these days What can we do when our sound's drown out by those waves? What can we do when our feelings are never gonna change? We couldn't get rid of the pain by gunning for the vein By feeling disdain You're not gonna have it in your stomach this time to wish it away Around the world A thousand strong Bounced from door to door We can't take of it anymore I gotta say its a long, long way Just to get back to being the same Our flag’s unfurled and it won’t be long All it takes is a kiss It can happen like this
9.
I'm in love with you What should we do? `cause it’s the kind of love That we can’t choose What can we do? When we don’t even make sense Do I make your dreams come true? You would always stay on rainy days Then came a time when you went away What are we to do? When we don’t even make sense Did we end it all too soon? I won’t go I could never leave I don't think it’s normal to see all this pain its so insane It really rattles 'round in our brains
10.
Maybe we’re peaking way too soon Maybe the 12-bars we play won’t heal any wounds The friend you make may rust but you don't throw him away Sometimes these chords can be tough to play We can't beg, we can’t borrow. We can’t steal We can’t forget knowing what's not real It comes down to us breaking their codes They won’t get you down … We ride a dusty road! I’m down but not broken now I’m comfortably dumb (is what you said)

about

NYC-based rock band Lonnieclaire has always been known for their edgy and innovative sound. With each album, they work hard to push their boundaries. However, it wasn't until they decided to revisit their sixth album, 'Tilt and Wilt', that they truly gained an appreciation how far studio production, and the band, has moved forward.

'Tilt and Wilt' (also known as Lonnieclaire VI) was self-released by the band almost 15 years ago, and while it was well-received by Internet Radio and some fringe music blogs, it never quite reached the level of success that the band had hoped for. Over the years, the album was completely forgotten, overshadowed by the band's newer releases. But the band members never forgot the raw fun that went into recording 'Tilt and Wilt'.

After much contemplation, the band decided to remaster the album and give it a new life. They wanted to bring "Tilt and Wilt" back to the forefront and share it with their dedicated fan base, as well as introduce it to a new generation of listeners.

The process of remastering was no easy feat because it involved going back to the original recordings and meticulously enhancing the sound quality while still staying true to the original vibe and essence of the album. Nevertheless, the band worked at project, determined to do justice to the collection of songs.

"When we produced "Tilt and Wilt" back in 2009, Bitcoin hadn't even been invented, and we didn't have access to things like post-mastering or linear phase EQ, stereo and bass enhancement or HD Wavs" joked the band. "We aren't skilled engineers… we're still pretty naive about things like Stero-linked multiband compression."

The band's loyal fans have been receptive to hearing the songs with a fresh and polished sound, while new listeners have been captivated by the unique and timeless sound of the album.

Through their decision to revive 'Tilt and Wilt' through remastering, Lonnieclaire not only paid homage to their roots but also proved that great music is timeless. The album is also a testament to the band's gritty attitude.
